Overview

Florida Heart Group (website) is looking for a dynamic and energetic invasive (non-interventional) cardiologist to join our team in a new office at Florida Hospital Winter Park (website). That physician would be supported by two of our current physicians in this new location. This cardiologist must be proficient in all forms of diagnostic testing including nuclear and ultrasound modalities, trans esophageal echo and diagnostic cardiac catheterization.  Responsibilities will involve both inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care. Recent graduates and those in their early career stage willing to build a practice will be considered.

We are a leading provider of cardiovascular and thoracic services among Medicare patients with national rankings that include: #1 in Cardiology volume, #1 in Vascular Surgery volume, #5 in Thoracic Surgery volume and #8 in Open Heart Surgery volume. The FH CVI is centered in a tertiary facility known as Florida Hospital Orlando within our Ginsburg Tower. This 15-story sanctuary of healing offers patients a full range of comprehensive heart and vascular care, including 12 hybrid operating rooms housing electrophysiology, vascular and invasive cardiology. 

Requirements for the positionBoard Certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty board certification (or board eligibility) in Cardiovascular Disease.  High caliber, quality focused, innovative physicians should apply.  Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
