Centra Care is currently seeking dynamic and energetic Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Practice, Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine Physicians for our expansion into the Volusia County area. We anticipate our new location for Centra Care in Daytona Beach to open May 2015.

This employment opportunity will be an outpatient, full time position with an active and expanding clinical service with the Centra Care group. We specialize in family medicine, pediatrics, orthopedics and corporate medicine. Each of our urgent care centers provides non-appointment-based services including on-site x-rays, on-site labs, on-site prescription drugs, and electronic medical records.

Centra Care is the largest urgent care facility in Central Florida and is affiliated with our sister company, Florida Hospital, the largest patient volume hospital in the country. Centra Care is a recognized leader in high quality urgent care, treating more than 350,000 patients annually. With twenty eight urgent care centers in the greater Orlando area, Tampa, and Volusia County, we provide more treatment and services than any other urgent care network.

Board Certification is required; board eligibility is accepted if less than two years out of training.

Location Description

Volusia County is in East Central Florida. Volusia County is bordered on the west by the historic St. Johns River, and by the Atlantic Ocean to the east.  Roughly the size of Rhode Island, Volusia is situated 50 miles northeast of Orlando, 60 miles north of the Kennedy Space Center and 89 miles south of Jacksonville.
